Casey, Illinois is a small town known for its big things. The town is home to over thirty roadside attractions, including twelve record holding world’s largest things! But the town is also known for one more thing: softball. In Casey you will find the USA Softball of Illinois Hall of Fame and, out front, a big baseball bat. Or, I suppose a big softball bat. Either way, it’s one big bat.
While this isn’t anywhere near the world’s largest baseball bat (that would be the 120 foot-tall version at the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, a Kentucky roadside attraction) it’s still a modestly sized big thing that makes for fun vacation selfies.
