Uranus, Missouri, might be known for fudge and laughs, but there’s even more weirdness waiting just around the corner. The Uranus Sideshow Museum in St. Robert, Missouri invites curious travelers to dive into a delightfully odd world of sideshow history and offbeat entertainment.
Inside, you’ll wander through a winding maze of over 100 strange and surprising exhibits. From a two-headed bull shark and jackalopes to live two-headed turtles, shrunken heads, unicorn skulls, and even a mummified chupacabra, the collection pays tribute to the golden age of the American sideshow, one oddity at a time.

Enjoy fun games and challenges to pass the time on your next road trip and have a keepsake to look back on for years to come with this entertaining must-have for your next vacation.
Keep an eye out for live performances in the lobby. Sword swallowers and other sideshow performers often stop to wow the crowd with jaw-dropping stunts and maybe a few groan-worthy jokes. In Uranus, things are always a little strange—and a whole lot of fun.
While you’re there be sure to grab some fudge at the Uranus Fudge Factory and head across the street to see the Mega Mayor Muffler Man!
Photos of the Uranus Sideshow Museum
Sure, Uranus might be famous for serving up some of the best fudge on Route 66, but that’s not all that’s packed in here! One of the most delightfully weird stops is the Uranus Sideshow Museum, where you’ll find all sorts of oddities and throwbacks to classic sideshows of yesteryear. I popped in during a 2025 road trip, and here are some photos from that wacky adventure!
