Created by Steven Weitzman, an acclaimed American artist known for his outdoor artworks, the mural spans 1,618 square feet and measures 24 by 70 feet. Completed in 2008 using FŌTERA® Concrete Terrazzo, it showcases over 70 elements of local history, geography, and lore from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. This vibrant artwork includes depictions of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, regional wildlife, and other iconic landmarks, celebrating the area’s rich heritage and natural beauty.
