Once upon a time, in the 1940s, you could stand atop this 262 foot-tall metal Parachute Jump and parachute your way down. Defunct since 1968, you can still view the tower at Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York, and stand there wondering if you could take the plunge yourself.

(And if you’re wondering if I’d do it… hahahaha, nope. Now way!)
