Miz Zip’s in Flagstaff, Arizona (Route 66)

Let’s Eat! Miz Zip’s in Flagstaff, Arizona has been feeding hungry Route 66 travelers since 1952.

This popular Route 66 diner has a solid menu of burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, and entrees like chicken fried steak and enchiladas. They also serve breakfast favorites such as pancakes, waffles, omelets, and huevos rancheros. I went for my favorite diner meal, a French dip sandwich, this one served topped with melted Swiss cheese and green chile.

Miz Zip’s is located right on Route 66 in Flagstaff. Look for the big sign out front that features a cheeseburger and steak and eggs and the neon sign on the front of the building that declares, “Let’s Eat.”
