While driving through Michigan I happened upon these large cows grazing alongside a giant sundae outside Bubba’s New Buffalo Jersey Subs and Bake Shoppe/Moo’s Ice Cream Shoppe in New Buffalo, Michigan…and they were udderly fantastic!
This Michigan roadside attraction features a herd of life-size black and white holstein cattle surrounding a larger-than-life ice cream sundae topped with whipped cream, fruit, and candies. These figures make the perfect lawn ornaments to lure passersby. The shop even advertises to “look for the cows” to find them!

Information correct as of 2009, it looks like the sub shop may be under new management and the cows may no longer be around. (I’m udder-ly disappointed if that’s true!) But if you LOVE big cow roadside attractions, look for Sissy the Cow in DeForest, Wisconsin, Fiberglass Bessie the Cow in Janesville, Wisconsin, and Salem Sue, The World’s Largest Holstein Cow in North Dakota.
