The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico is a world-class museum and cultural center that is dedicated to preserving and displaying Pueblo history and culture.
The non-profit institution opened in August 1976 with the mission “to preserve and perpetuate Pueblo culture and to advance understanding by presenting with dignity and respect, the accomplishments and evolving history of the Puebloan peoples of New Mexico.” The space is owned and operated by the 19 Indian Pueblos of New Mexico.

The cultural center includes a 10,000 square-foot museum that displays artifacts and artworks while telling the story of the Pueblo cultures. Among the permanent exhibits and temporary exhibits is “We Are of This Place: The Pueblo Story,” which presents the history and accomplishments of the Pueblo people of New Mexico.
The center also presents traditional dances, art markets, live entertainment, exhibitions, artist workshops, lectures, hands-on learning activities, and more.
While there stop for a meal at the acclaimed on-site restaurant, Indian Pueblo Kitchen, which offers guests an unforgettable Indigenous dining experience. There’s also a gift shop, the Indian Pueblo Store, that sells Pueblo and Southwest Native American art.
