While you might be terrified to think of just how humungous of a steer this giant skull would have had to have come from, don’t worry, it’s just a sculpture, not the real deal. This roadside attraction is made of steel and has lights in the eye sockets that glow bright red at night.
The big skull is located on Main Street and sits right next to another popular roadside attraction: the restored vintage Sinclair Gas Station in Albany. It was donated to Albany by local rancher Cliff Teinert and has been in place since 2007.
